PAUL R. CASPER
AGE: 79 EDISON
Paul R. Casper of Edison died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 79 years old. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he lived in Piscataway before moving to Edison 40 years ago.
Mr. Casper was a self-employed property manager for more than 30 years. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Italian American Club and Lindenau Senior Citizens, both of Edison.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rose Mary (Carbone) Casper; four sons, Robert, Michael and wife, Georgine, Jeffrey and wife, Joanne Casper, all of Edison, Gary Casper of Boise, Idaho; a daughter, Rosemarie Casper of Edison, and three granddaughters, Nicole, Erica and Heather.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today, Jan. 8, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
