Obituary for Mildred Myree "Millie" Eaton Gunter
Mildred Myree “Millie” Eaton Gunter, 78, earned her wings on November 25, 2016.
She was born in Blountville, TN to the late Robert Floyd Eaton and Minnie Pearl Minnick on June 23, 1938. She was a widow of the late AJ Gunter.
Mrs. Gunter is survived by three daughters and a son in law, Theresa G. Langlois, of VA, Connie F. and Robert Budjinski, of VA, and Anna M. Mitchell, of NC; one step-son and step-daughter in law, Dale and Kathy Gunter, of White Pine; grandchildren, Tabitha Meadows, Jay Tway, Crisha Townsend, Heather and Chuck Hughes, Rachel Taylor, David Taylor, Sonny “Hercules” Mitchell; step-grandchildren, Kathy Fulkerson, Holly McCray, Garrick Gunter; great-grandchildren, Gage, Tamara, Jamie, Chase, Bailey, Kelsey, Anthony, Kennedy, Logan, Alex, Ethan, Rhiley, Alyssa, Dominic; sister, Margaret Eaton; brother, Willard “Shorty” Eaton; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by a brother, Harry William Eaton; sisters, Elva Mae Cutshaw, and Louise Eaton (infant).
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 4-7pm at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. Family and friends are asked to meet on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at White’s Cemetery in Parrottsville, TN for a 2pm graveside service.
Rev. Terry Franklin will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
