Donald Edward Barry, age 74, of Little Flock, Arkansas, died peacefully Monday, November 21, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family.

He was born November 15, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Florence Lorraine (Poynton) and Edward Jerome Barry.

As a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force, he served honorably in the Vietnam War.

He loved spending quality time with his family, camping, motorcycles, his dogs, teaching, and traveling. Most recently Donald had returned to his greatest passion, teaching. As a masters level educator, he worked as a substitute teacher in the Rogers Public School District.

He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for 33 years after moving from Tucson, Arizona.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Terry Mae (Barrett) Barry.

Donald is survived by two sons, Marc Barry (and his wife, Belinda) of Rogers, Arkansas, and Steve Barry (and his wife, Lori) of Fennimore, Wisconsin; one brother, David Barry (and his wife, Linda Price-Barry) of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Mary Lynn Barry, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Hunter Barry, Ian Barry, Benjamin Barry, and Nicholas Barry.

Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville.
