David was born on September 4, 1922 to Jack and Verna (Zeek) Albert in Oilton. He attended school in Oilton and graduated from Oilton High School in 1939 at the age of 16. After high school, David moved to Stillwater to attend Oklahoma A&M. He attended a semester before entering into the United States Coast Guard. He proudly served his country for 3 years. After being honorably discharged, David moved back to Oilton. He started work at Economy Supply, and worked there proudly for 68 years. He took pride in his job and made sure everything ran properly.
David married Roberta Martin on July 20, 1952 and had two children: Nancy and Mike. He loved spending time with his family. He worked hard to make sure his family had anything and everything they ever needed. He loved getting together with family eating his fried chicken and telling stories.
David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
David is survived by two children, Nancy Storts and Doug of Mannford, Mike and Kathy Albert of Broken Arrow; six grandchildren, Brent, Blaine, Brian, Brooke, Krista, and Zack. David is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
