Johnny J. Coxie, Jr., 29, husband of Meagan McCraw Coxie, died.

Mr. Coxie was born May 20, 1987 in Greenville to Cindy Aills Coxie and the late Johnny J. Coxie, Sr.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Jonathan Coxie; a daughter, Madeline Coxie; a step-son Andrew Richard; and three sisters, Crystal Foskey, Julia Coxie (Matthew Lowell) and Sarah Coxie Gowen (Tameron).

A Celebration of Johnny's Life will be 5pm Sunday at Faith Renewed Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Fletcher Funeral Service.

Johnny Joe Coxie, 29, and his wife Meagan Leigh (McCraw) Coxie, 25, were reported missing on December 22, 2015.

Meagan appears to have died from a gunshot wound to the head. Her husband, Johnny Joe Coxie, 29, suffered several bullet wounds to the torso.

Their bodies were found buried on Nov 9, 2016. The two were buried roughly 11 months ago.

They are presumed victims of self professed serial killer Todd Kohlhepp. Kohlhepp has confessed to killing four employees of a motorcycle shop in 2003 — a long unsolved case. He's confessed to seven murders in total.
Johnny was a victim of homicide, by serial killer Todd Christopher Kohlhepp. There is an episode of "People Magazine" on Investigation Discovery (ID) TV "Killing Field" (2018) documenting his life, and final days.
