Mrs. Von Bon was the former Teresa Schmitz, whose parents were Theodore and Elizabeth (Stuckart) Schmitz. She was born May 15, 1906, at Wiley, Iowa and lived there until her marriage to Mr. Von Bon. The wedding took place Nov. 25, 1924, in SS. Peter and Paul Church, Carroll, with the late Rev. H. J. Dress officiating.
They lived first on a farm near Petersburg, Nebraska, and a year later returned to a farm east of Dedham. In 1927 they moved into Dedham, where they have lived since. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild of the parish.
Surviving with her husband are five children, Delbert and Ronald of Dedham; Mrs. Kathleen Horner, Des Moines; John, Red Oak; and Mrs. Darrell (Mary Francis) Smith, North Little Rock, Ark.; also 17 grandchildren; two sisters, Magdalene Schmitz, Carroll, and Sister M. Doetilla of the Villa, La Cross, Wis.; and brother William Schmitz, Carroll.
Mrs. Von Bon was preceded in death by two infant sons, three brothers and three sisters.
