Robbinsville - David Hugh Eller, 74, of Robbinsville, passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva.
He was the son of the late J.W. "Smith" Eller and Lillie Rogers Eller. In addition to his parents, his son, David Gary Eller, preceded him in death.
His wife of 51 years, Irene Sawyer Eller; sons, Michael Eller of Apex and Richard Eller and Keith Eller, both of Robbinsville; brother, Gerald Eller of Asheville; and sister, Hildred Millsaps of Robbinsville survive him, in addition to 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Townson-Smith Chapel. The Revs. Daniel Stewart and Jack Millsaps will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sawyers Creek Cemetery
