Ms. Patsy Ann Samuels-Nix-Adams, age 79, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Wadley Regional Medical Center at Hope.

Ms. Adams was born May 25, 1935, in Hope, Arkansas to Jesse James "J.J." and Ula Elizabeth Cummings Samuels. Ms. Adams was a member of County Avenue Baptist Church in Texarkana, and was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Southern Clinic in Texarkana. She was a loving mother that dedicated her life to her Lord, children and grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Ms. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Edsel Nix and William Charles Adams; brothers, Kenneth Samuels, Horace Samuels, J.D. Samuels, Sr. and Jack Samuels, sisters, Joyce Houser, Udell Lloyd and Sybill Parsons.

Visitation for Ms. Adams will be Tuesday, 6:00 to 8:00pm, October 28, 2014, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Mark Fischer officiating burial will follow in White Oak Grove Cemetery in DeAnn, Arkansas.
