AUSTIN, TX ~~ Margaret Ann Hubbard (Margo), passed away peacefully Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the age of 75.

Born in Colorado City, Texas to Ella B. Hubbard and the late A. W. Hubbard, Margo graduated from Colorado High School in 1959. She attended Austin College in Sherman and completed her bachelor's at University of Texas, Austin in 1964. Margo spent her career at the Texas Department of Health and Human Services in San Antonio and Austin. Always an avid reader, Margo volunteered at the Austin Public Library after retiring in 2003.

Margo was passionate about theater and acted in local plays in San Antonio and Austin. Margos love of golf and cruising usually dictated her vacation travels.

Margo is preceded in death by her father, Angus Wynne Hubbard.

She is survived by her mother, Ella B. Hubbard of Austin; her brother, Charles Lee Hubbard and wife Donna of Frisco, Texas; her nephews, Bradley Allen Hubbard and wife Tiffany of Libertyville, Illinois and Charles Darren Hubbard and wife Cynthia of Houston; and her grand-nephew and grand-nieces, Nathan, Naomi, and Diana.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Stonebriar Nursing Center in Austin.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Margo's name to the charity of their choice.
