WHITTAKER, MARTHA LOUISE, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, December 25, 2006. Our beloved mother is survived by her husband, Gilbert Lee Whitaker Jr.; son, William J. Newton; daughters, Doris Primm, Dale Figg, Debbie L. Miller and Jenny Norton; brother, Roy W. Sutherland; sisters, Cora Mildred Harden and Stella Mae Terry; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Hopewell Cemetery, Jeffersontown. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Friday at Foreman's, 10600 Taylorsville Rd., Jeffersontown.
