Dorothy Louise Holland, 77, entered eternal life Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
Dorothy was born to the late Robert VanTrese and Mary White Jewel in
Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She was a cook for Eastern Star and Britthaven Nursing Homes in
South Louisville.
She was affiliated with the King Solomon Church,
Preceding her in death are her parents, siblings, Ruby Hayes, Isaac Jewel,
Edna Burton; niece, Fonda Jewel, and nephews, Bobby White and
Clayton Jewel.
Survivors include her siblings, Jessie Anthony, William Jewell ( Jacquelyn),
and Joseph Jewel ( Stella ) ; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great
nieces and nephews.
Visiting with be 10:00 a.m.,until 12:00 noon Saturday, November 5, 2016
at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road.
A Homecoming celebratetion will be immediately following the visitation at
12:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, with burial to follow in
Green Meadows Cemetery.
