Thank you to everyone who visits Susan.
**********
Susan was my husband's step cousin on the McNaughton side. She was a lovely person. She was always upbeat and positive, even when very ill. Her family was the most important thing to her, and she always joined in and supported all of their special occasions, activities and achievements. She enjoyed sports and supporting DeWitt High School events. For 18 years she was the Athletic Director's Secretary at Dewitt Public Schools, retiring in 1996. In 2012 she was inducted into the DeWitt Sports Hall of Fame for her many years of dedication and hard work there.
Susan deeply missed her husband, Richard, who preceded her in death in 2008, but now they are together again. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, two sons and their spouses, a daughter and her husband, and 6 grandchildren.
She put up a valiant fight against cancer, but in the end, she couldn't beat it. It didn't crush her spirit though. Her spirit will live on in these people, and she will always be missed. I was happy to call her friend., and I will miss her.
