Buddy Wilson Baugher, 78, of Harrisonburg, died Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Buddy W. Baugher, 78, of Elkton, son of the late Weaver and Sina Shifflett Baugher passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born and raised in the Elkton area, but had lived the last 20 years in Norfolk.
Buddy served five years in the Navy. He was a meticulous brick layer, working for Neilson Construction, R. G. Reeves, as well as several other companies, and finally working for himself.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Jane Dean and husband, Gary; a granddaughter, April Nicole Shifflett-Phillips and husband, Jonathan; a sister, Maxine Hilbert and husband, Billy; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Mitchell Shawn Baugher and Mark Wayne Baugher; and a sister, Mary Alice Dean.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
A graveside service will be held 11 am, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Carter Dean officiating.
