The sixth child of Henry and Naomi Sager.She traveled on the Oregon trail with her parents and siblings. When her parents died on the trail she and her siblings went on to the Whitman mission and was adopted by the Whitmans and where they lived for 3 years. She died while in captivity during the Whitman Massacre which took the lives of Dr. Marcus and Narcissa Whitman and her two brothers John Sager and Fransico(Frank) Sager.
She was buried near what is called the great-grave.
