Charles "Bud" Taylor passed away at Cedar Creek Retirement Community in Madera, at the age of 78. He was retired from Pacific Bell where he had been employed for 33 years; working in both Madera and in Salinas. In retirement he was a member of the Telephone Co. Pioneers, and in SIRS (Seniors in Retirement).

He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary in 1996. He is survived by his wife Charlotte of Madera, his sons, Charles Taylor and his wife Linda of Antioch CA., Steven
and his wife Bonnie of Oakley, CA, and Mary Roberts of Visalia. He is the brother of Kenneth Taylor and his wife Marylou of Castro Valley, CA, Jerry McCullough and her husband Weldon of Madera, Ladonna Taylor of Madera, and Nancy Taylor Payne of Madera. He is the grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 14.
