Passed away on October 16, 2016 at the age of 88. She was born in Flint on February 2, 1928 to the late Fred and Sarah (Ruth) Edwards of Bad Axe, MI. Frankie worked for many years as a Hair Stylist in Marlette, MI. However, her priority was her family. She devoted many hours to her children, teaching them they could do anything that they put their energy into. She involved them in girl scouts, boy scouts, 4-H, and church activities by being a girl scout leader, den mother, teaching sewing to 4-H members and helping in bible school. She also joined the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) to make sure her children received a good education. She later extended these beliefs to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved commotion and activity. After retirement, she spent winters in Florida for 25 years making many friends. She was an avid crafter and seamstress. Frankie was an enthusiastic card and game player. She loved to camp and spend time in the water.

She is survived by two children; Charlotte S. (Bill) Turner of Marlette, Elizabeth K. (Bob) Preville of Birch Run, and Daughter-in-law Linda (Terry) Chappel of Caro. Twelve grandchildren; Eric (Christina) Turner of Lexington, Roxanne Turner (Todd Muck) of Fowlerville, Nathan (Mandy) Jickling of Lapeer , Sharon (Don) Greenfield of Unionville, Carrie(Corey) Rosser of North Branch, Christopher Preville (Liz Hertl) of Grand Rapids, Rhonda (Jason) Stieler of Scottsdale, AZ , and Philip Preville of Birch Run. Step grandchildren Stacy Chappel of Deford , LeaAnn King of Ocala, FL, Danyel Ball of Columbiaville, and Erin Wik of Ocala, FL. Fifteen great grandchildren, Sister Margaret (Thomas) Case and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Evan; son, Gary; Parents, sister and three brothers.

Pursuant to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at the First Presbyterian Church in Marlette November 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM., Visitation with family from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
