Dick Van Oosterhout, former postmaster at Orange City, passed away there last Saturday following a siege of pneumonia, from which he suffered only a few days.

He was born 1874, and was married to Jennie.

Funeral services were held there this past Monday. He is survived by his wife, Jennie and two daughters, Mrs. Harold Wandscheer of Rock Island, Illinois a former Sioux Center resident, and Margaret (Mrs. John Meskimen) of Topeka, Kansas.
