Richard "Bob" Pearson Ferguson, 76, of Clyde, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richmond and Maybelle Ferguson, along with six sisters and four brothers.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Shirley Parks Ferguson; daughters, Brittany Williams, Rachel Ferguson, Teresa Hensley and Susan Messer; son, Richard Ferguson; sister, Lucy Hardy; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Smoky Mountain Chapel with Rev. Billy Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 3 p.m.
