She was a native of Hardeeville and attended the Jasper County Public Schools. She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and served with the Missionary Society. She was operator of Louise Restaurant in Hardeeville and Savannah.
SURVIVORS: three daughters, Elizabeth Lee and Beverly Aiken, both of Hardeeville, Dorothy Jones of Savannah; two sons, Henry Brown Sr. and Alton Brown, both of Hardeeville; a sister, Wilhelmena Brown of Hardeeville; a brother, William Cummings Jr. of Hardeeville; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery.
