Patricia Ann (Balser) Lohmeyer, 75, of Lafayette, died at 4:57 AM Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, in Lafayette Home Hospital. Born Sept. 18, 1931, in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Zachariah and Lelia Kochel Balser. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1949. She married Emil Donald Lohmeyer on Nov. 19, 1949, in Warren County, and he died July 3, 2004.

Mrs. Lohmeyer was the service manager for Jewel Grocery Store before retiring more than 20 years ago. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Lafayette.

She is survived by one daughter, Melinda A. Burrows (husband James) of Farmington Hills, MI; two sons, Stephen D. Lohmeyer (wife Sue) and Michael A. Lohmeyer (fiancee Diane Haan), both of Lafayette; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. À great-granddaughter preceded her in death.
