Dennis R. Acevedo, 36, of Lehighton, and formerly Jim Thorpe, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016 at his home.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Augustine "Stoney" Acevedo and the late Linda S. (Nau) O'Reardon.
He enjoyed sharing his love of nature with his son.
Besides his father Augustine, he is survived by his beloved son Stoney Acevedo, stepmother Nancy (Hellwig) Acevedo; his grandmother, Eleanor Nau; siblings, Lisa, James, Jason, John, Melissa, Eagle, Hawk, Bear, Wolf, Coyote, Margaret and Patrick; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by brothers Anthony and Stoney.
Services: will be held 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016 at Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Interment, private.
