He was born June 1,1925,in Shelby County,the son of Charles E.and Jennie E.(Buirley) Hughes.
In October 1943,he and the former Ramona Sage were married.She died Jan.4,1990.
He is survived by a son Robert Jr.of Sidney;three grandchildren and Six great granchildred,Three Bothers,Leonard,of Arizona and Herbert and Dick both of Sidney and Clara Lenhart Both of Sidney
Two Brothers and Three Sisters are deceased.Mr Hughes was a forman From Ross Aluminum Foundries.
Services will be held Monday at10:30 a.m. at the Cromes
