Tip was born the son of Mr. & Mrs. Bradford Peasley. He spent his boyhood days at Primghar, IA. As a young man he came to the Fulda community at a time when there was much drainage work being done, and he spent many years in ditching and tiling. Later he was to work in the carpenter trade. Tip married Sybil Woolstencroft in 1915. Sybil passed away May 28, 1918, just 9 days after giving birth to their second child. Tip was then united in marriage on December 9, 1920 to Mary Getzel. Mary provide a happy home for his growing son & daughter, as well as their own children. Tip suffered a stroke and passed away two weeks later. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. While interested in community activities, he was happiest when in his own home with his family.

Tip & Sybil were the parents of Dunwreath Peasley, & Phyllis Torrence. Phyllis preceded her father in death.

Tip & Mary were the parents of Aroma McCleery, Frances Tinker, Marjorie Huggler, & Opal Munger.

Tip's siblings include Edith Carrol, & two brothers & two sisters who preceded Tip in death.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Fulda Presbyterian Church.
