Born in Morea, she was a daughter of the late Emil and Julia Brach Micun.
She was a graduate of Frackville High School.
She was member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, Frackville Senior Citizens and American Legion Post 398 Ladies Auxiliary, all of Frackville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Florence Sienkiewicz, Cecelia Micun, Theresa E. Dembroski and Genevieve C. Micun; brothers, Emil Micun Jr., Leonard Micun and Walter Swistak. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Eleanor is survived by three sons, Vincent Achenbach and his wife, Tammy, Mechanicsville, Va., Allen Achenbach, at home, Frackville, and Joseph Achenbach and his wife, Dorene, Frackville; grandchildren, Jared, Nicole, Vincent Jr., Sara and Dana Achenbach.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Frackville, with the Rev. Robert T. Finlan, pastor, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Englewood/Frackville. Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
