LeVaughn Amerson, 75 of Plant City died July 22, 2015 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. A native of Plant City, FL, he was the son of the late Herbert and Beety Miley Amerson. He was the husband of Linda Young Amerson, she survives. Also surviving are son Tommy (Christa) Hubble; sister, Miriam Byrd; brother, Orvis Amerson; one grandson, Chase Hubble. Mr. Amerson was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lavaughn Amerson. He was a produce broker and partner in Akin-Porter Produce, and a member and pastor with Baptist Purity Church. A visitation will be from 6-8pm, Friday, July 24, 2015, at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City. A funeral service will be in Salem, Florida at Baptist Purity Church and Cemetery, 2pm, Saturday, July 25, 2015, with visitation one hour prior.
