He was an ordained minister and led many people to Christ.
Jack spent 50-plus years as the owner of Jack's Gulf service station/Mini Jacks on Apperson Way and Jefferson Street. He made many lifelong friends there. He gave many people their first job when they came to town or returned from the military, as he was a Marine.
Jack enjoyed spending time with his family joking around in the backyard that he created. Great memories were made by the pool, being silly and playing games together. But, more than anything, he loved the Lord. Jack's parting wish is for everyone to get right with the Lord. Find a church that teaches the Bible, read it, learn what it means and live by it.
His family brought much joy to his life. They include a son, Jack Bowser Jr (Elena); daughters; Jill (Ray) Putman, Cindy Kelley, Mary (John) Lancaster, Sally (Brian) Eltzeroth and Patricia (Virgil) Weitzel; grandchildren, John Munsell, Jenny (Joe) Bertram, E'lisa Kelley, Evgenia Khovanova, Madelyn (Micah) Beck, Lacey and Jacelyn Lancaster, Amanda and Mitchell Eltzeroth, Nicholas, Anneliese and Benjamin Weitzel; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Aja, Harli ShyAnn and Malikhi Munsell, Aurora Beck and Devion Walker; and a great-great-granddaughter, Railynn Munsell;
Family and friends who made his last days special include David Cohee, Terry Langston, Dave Imboden, Airelle Walker, Eddie Brewer and many others.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Nancy (Schaeffer) Bowser; Jack's sister, Doris Krengel; and a brother, John Bowser.
