Lineville Tribune *1916 Obituary

The late Aaron Newton DANIELSON was born in Decatur County near Lineville, Iowa, on March 5 1876. With the exception of the last nine years, his life has been spent on the farm in the Elm Chapel community.

He was united in marriage to Miss Annie Hannah ENGLE on Novmber 10, 1897. Their children are:
Eva Beck, Florence Jane, Elsie Harriett, Charles Hinchman, and Dorothy Danielson, all of whom are living and with their mother mourn his loss.

During the last nine years the family have made their home in Lineville, where he followed a line of general work and thus supplied the family wants. A year ago last April he was taken sick and it proved to be of a severe nature, which has disabled him from engaging in employment, for the whole time with the exception of a few weeks.

He suffered patiently and was administered to by the family with devotion. Three weeks ago he was seized with a severe attack of stomach trouble allied with anemia of the blood, which confined him to his bed. He gradually grew weaker and for the last two days was unconscious and thus passed away, at the age of 40 years, 2 months and 20 days.

The funeral services were held at the home on Thursday morning, conducted by Rev. A. E. Jervis, who emphasised that "Death is swallowed up in Victory." Jesus has made possible a glorious resurrection and a happy reunion. The interment was made in the home community at the Elm cemetery.
