OBITUARY: Samuel LaRue died November 21, 1902 at the home of his daughter Mrs. J.B. Key near Keysville. Mr. LaRue was born in Crawford County September 11, 1822 and married Miss. Samantha Beezley in June of 1846. They had two sons and six daughters, seven still living, Joseph La Rue and Mrs. M.E. Ramsey of Sligo, Mrs. C.H.Lay and Mrs. Lucy Maxwell of Steelville, Mrs. Ann Rutledge of Cook Station, Mrs. J.B. Key and Mrs. Arkless Humphrey of Keysville.
