Graduated Ohio State University in Industrial Engineering; served in US Army in Pacific Theater on Philippian's Islands, earning the Bronze Star. He then moved to Dubuque, IA where he met and married Evelyn G. Powers. Wayne was employed by Allis Chalmers then by A. O. Smith for 25 years then retired.
Member of St James Methodist Church in Appleton, he helped build and placed the boulders for the alter. He volunteered on several mission projects w/VIM Missionary, traveling globally. He was honored to go on the Military Honors Flight to Washington DC and got a hole in one on his 90th birthday at Reid Municipal Golf Course. Wayne also enjoyed bowling, his family and grand/great grandchildren.
