Penny Elizabeth Barnwell, 53, of Hendersonville passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Pardee Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Betty and Lewis Ruff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lee Barnwell; sister, Jenny Ruff; brother, John Ruff; and nephew, Michael Anthony Ruff.
A loving mother, sister and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Eugenia Love Whitmire; son, David Jonathan Patterson; three grandchildren; brother, David “Mike” Ruff; and two sisters, Carol Ruff and Rose Colecia.
A graveside service will be held 2pm Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Dewey Barnwell will officiate.
