Jesse Albright, 78, of Amherstdale, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 27, 2011, from St. Francis Hospital at Charleston after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born April 2, 1933, at Lorado, a son of the late John Thomas and Adaline Brunty Albright.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Goldie Adkins and Virlie Clay; and five brothers, James Albright, Meardie Albright, John Albright, Robert Albright, and Donnie Albright.
Jesse was a retired coal miner having last worked for Pittston Coal Company. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Jesse was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
At his request his remains have been cremated and there will be no memorial service.
