Helen Magdalene Fecko Dyak, 92, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, January 05, 2016. She was born November 5, 1923 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, daughter to John and Mary Fecko. She lived many years in Pearl River, NY before retiring to the Oak Park neighborhood of Raleigh.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband Nicholas, loving granddaughter Amity Leitner Graham, sisters Mary Motter(Dennis), Margie Saloka, and Irene Sidor(Joseph), other relatives; Anna(Stefen) Laski, John(Anne) Dyak, George(Lil) Dyak, Helen(Jack) Schmidt, Julie Zorn, and niece Marie Laski.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Jeanie Leitner and her husband, Fritz of Chapel Hill, NC; son, James Dyak and his wife, Connie of Atlanta, GA; sister, Georgiann Petak (Edward); grandchildren; Carl Leitner and wife Ofri, Meredith and Lauren Dyak; great grandchildren, Geffen and Segev Leitner and grandson-in-law Robert Graham; brother-in-laws Edward Saloka and William Zorn; nieces and nephews including Eleanor Cinurchin, Donald(Gloria) Schmidt, and Arlene Kryspin.
A private graveside service for the family will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park.
