In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Keith Clause; two brothers, Donald Clause and Robert Clause; one sister, Joyce Forrest; brother-in-law, Jack Delong; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Smith, Bessie and Ward LaForme; brothers-in-law, Robert and Frankie Hill.
He was a member of Ironworkers Union Local #1.
