Mark Frank Douglas, 89, of Salem, NH passed away on Thursday, August 18th. Mark was born and educated in Methuen, MA, the son of the late Mae (Clifford) and Edward Douglas. He graduated from Edward F. Searles High School and he graduated from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Hyannis.
Mark served as a lieutenant in the US Navy during the Korean War. Mark was an entrepreneur and owned and operated many businesses throughout the years. He was also an author and real estate developer. He enjoyed traveling and completing crossword puzzles.
He will be sadly missed by his children, [Redacted] Rowan of Bradenton, FL and [Redacted] Douglas of New London, CT; his brother, [Redacted] Douglas and his wife [Redacted] of Salem, NH; two grandson; his devoted friends and business partners, [Redacted] and [Redacted] Apostoloff of Derry, NH and 2 nieces and a nephew.
Calling hours are Wednesday, August 24th from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service is Thursday at 10:30 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home.
Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
