Ariana Renee Courtney, born January 22, 2008 was taken from us on August 21, 2016. She loved Jesus and going to church. She was looking forward to starting 3rd grade at Central Intermediate. Her unique personality, sweet spirit, loving heart, and giving nature touched everyone. She had a heart for feeding the homeless and riding horses. She always looked forward to going to the camp where she would swim, boat, kneeboard, and ride friends in the golf cart. Her smiling face and sparkling eyes greeted everyone she met. She could never stay still, tumbling, doing cartwheels, and handstands. She was full of laughter and joy, bringing happiness everywhere she went. She was our sunshine, Nana's best buddy, and Pawpaw's girl. Ariana is survived by her mother, Christine Courtney; father, Justin Rebowe; grandparents, Billy and Nancy Courtney, Greenwell Springs; her uncle and aunt, Landon and Courtney Courtney, Denham Springs; her great grandparents, Jewel and Gene Gilchrist of Walker and Bill and Frankie Courtney, Baton Rouge. Ariana is preceded in death by Bob Watson, Caleb Stafford, Magee and Nancy Martin, Maggie Lott, Melda Courtney, JV and Essie Courtney, Corey Courtney, and Jeremy Courtney. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, La. 70815, on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 10am until a religious service at 12pm.
