ALBRECHT, Camiel Joseph Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Camiel Joseph Albrecht, 90, of Tucson passed away on August 4, 2016. Camiel was born on November 17, 1925 in East Moline, IL, to Leon and Erma (Vallaeys) Albrecht. Survived by his wife and the love of his life for 70 years, Alice Van Melkebeke; his children, Ron (Deby), Kathy, Karen (Robin), Larry (Linda) and Linda (Jim); 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren. Camiel moved to Tucson with his family in 1951. He retired from Hughes Aircraft Company in 1985, after a 33-year career as a machinist. In his retirement, Camiel enjoyed camping with Tucson Family Campers and many excursions around the country, visiting friends and family. He was an avid fan of sports, especially when his children and grandchildren were participants. He was a long-time member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Tucson. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with interment at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, Greensburg, PA, www.scsh.org or a charity of your choice .
