Fred Benjamin Woodell, 81, of Dayton died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Liberty.
Mr. Woodell was born January 9, 1935 in Jasper, Texas to parents Fred Mitchell Woodell and Tenie Vera Hancock Woodell. He was a lifelong resident of Jasper where he attended Jasper High School. Fred worked for Brown and Root, and was owner of a dry cleaners. He also enjoyed tractors, cattle and horses.
Service for Mr. Woodell will be Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at Pace-Stancil. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, Trace and his brother Bob Woodell. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vickie Watts Woodell of Dayton; daughters, Sharon Gansky and husband Jerry of Dayton and Brenda Trujillo and husband Robert of Alvin; brother, Bud Woodell; sisters, Bonnie and Em; grandchildren, Rachel, Keith, Tara, Christopher, Shaena, Russell, and Anthony; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
