Betty Jean (Walden) Allen, 80, a longtime resident of Gadsden, Alabama, died on August 14, 2016. She was born in Guntersville, Alabama. She graduated from Glencoe High School. She was a member of Louis Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Lessie Walden; son, Steven Allen; great-grandson, Braelyn Gazaway; and son-in-law, Douglas Miles. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, son, daughter, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside service: 3:00 p.m. August 16, 2016 at Crestwood Cemetery. Arrangements: Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.
