She was born June 24, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri to Emil and Gussie (nee Cameron) Zinzel, she resided in the Darien and LaGrange area most of her adult life.
Millie was a fixture at the Knotty Pine Restaurant in LaGrange; she thoroughly enjoyed all the diners/friends she served over her 46 year career there. She will be remembered fondly as a wonderful homemaker and a great cook who enjoyed bowling.
She was the beloved wife of Kenneth; loving mother of Joy (Larry) Tyda and Mary (Joe) Ostarello; dearest grandmother of two and proud great-grandmother of seven.
In addition to her husband and parents, her brother Homer Brown also precedes her in death.
Funeral service: Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, Joliet where visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m.
Interment: Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
NOTE: Millie's father was Rosco Brown.
