Sheila's Obituary
Born Sheila Y. Kelley in Baltimore, MD on June 12, 1946 to the late Lomer and Winifred Kelley (nee Manring) A lifetime resident of Anne Arundel County, she has lived in Severn for many years. After working for the Teamsters, Sheila, devoted her life to caring for her family and home. Sheila was an active member of Harundale Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed ceramics, travel, shopping and she treasured time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Acker is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Dale Acker as well as brothers David and Earl Kelley and Sisters Jean Sloan, Betty Groves, Bertha Kelley and Fonda Kelley. She is survived by her children Tammie B. Swenson and her husband Troy of Severn and Terri L. Hardesty and her husband David of Millersville as well as four cherished grandchildren Sean, Melissa,Brandon and Emilee and 4 great-grandchildren, Madison, Ryleigh, Chase and Cameron. Sheila passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
