Carmella Mary Romeo Tryba, 82, of Ellenton, Fla. died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla. She was born in Perth Amboy and resided in Ellenton for many years. She was a sales manager at Bamburgers in Menlo Park Mall for 16 years retiring in 1984. She was a former communicant of Holy Spirit RC Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society in Perth Amboy, member of the Manatee election board, the TOPS social group, meals on wheels, the VFW auxiliary, the Tideview estates assn., CMT/MDA associations, Sister Nora thrift store and the Holy Cross Church-CCCW and Altar Rosary society in Palmetto, Fla.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary Romeo; twin sister, Josephine Romeo; brothers, Weston and Matthew Curto; brother-in-laws, Harry Brown, Bertalan Sabo and Edward Sneed. She is survived by her husband, John, married 60 years; daughter, Janine Gillis and her husband Robert of Freehold; two sons, Mark and his wife Marian of Manalapan and Frank and his wife Amy of Sarasota, Fla; six grandchildren, Justin, Eric, Bryan, Jacob, Amanda, and Kaitlyn; former daughter-in-laws, Janice and Dawn Tryba; four sisters, Phyllis Sabo of Woodbridge, Frances Brown of Fords, Anna Kulick of Port Reading, and Judy Sneed of Edison; two brothers, Anthony and John Romeo of Edison.
