Barbara Standish, 42, of R.4. Bloomington, died Thursday morning at the Bloomington Hospital.

She was born Aug. 9, 1932, in Rensselaer, the daughter of Glen [sic] and Elva (Sample) [sic] Burns. She was a housewife and a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church.

Surviving are the husband, Richard; two daughters, Bonnie Standish at home and Glinda Summitt of Bloomington; two sons, Greg and Brian Standish, both of Bloomington; four brothers, William Burns of Lafayette and Keith, Richard and Donald Burns, all of Michigan City; and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one brother, James.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Greene and Harrell Mortuary with Dr. William Hughes presiding. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. to time of service Saturday.
