ELDRIDGE, Iowa — Services for Larry "Goldy" Goldsmith, 59, Eldridge, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church, Eldridge. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Mr. Goldsmith died Monday, March 6, 2000, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. He retired in 1996 as an accountant after 37 years at Alcoa Davenport Works. He was born June 29, 1940, in Clarence. He married Sharon Burns in 1961 in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the church or American Lung Association. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Pamela Gilbert, Eldridge, and Kristine McNeal and Kelly Hazen, both of Davenport; three grandchildren; his mother, Marie Goldsmith, Clarence; sisters, Virjean Svoboda, Overgaard, Ariz., Barb Archer, Stanwood, and Maria Wiedenhoff, Olin; and a brother, Kent, Cedar Rapids.
