He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Mary Adkins, grandson, Joshua Medaris, daughter -in-law Hazel Adkins, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Arlene, children, Larry, Ronnie, (Cindy), Joanna, Billy, (Theresa), Timmy, (Dana), Barbie, (Larry), David, (Tonda), grandchildren, Chris, (Staci), Shelly, ( Jimmy), Beth, (Troy), Jermy (Talleri), Raelyn), Amanda, (Chad), Kyle, (Sara), Cody, (Desirae), Emily, (Aaron), Ryan, (Sadie), Shelby, (Michael), Sierra, 20 great-grandchildren.
His funeral service at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
