Shannon Renae Laughter Miner, 29, of Havelock, and formerly of Hendersonville, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Henderson County, she was the daughter of Barbara Elaine McKinney of Hendersonville and the late Michael Dean Laughter.
She was a graduate of North Henderson High School and a member of Liberty Christian Church in Havelock.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, GySgt Donald Miner, Jr. of Havelock; two children, Brittany Dawn Miner and Brandon Pierce Miner of the home; a sister, Sheena Michelle Laughter of Brevard; an aunt, Lisa Murray and husband, Ricky, of Edneyville; her father-in-law, Donald Miner, Sr. of Bat Cave; her stepmother, Kathy Zurcker Laughter and two step-brothers, Zac and Tyler Benito of Hendersonville; sister-in-law, Nezy Miner of Bat Cave; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM Monday, November 6, 2006 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home with Pastor Steve McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of her mother.
