She was the sister of Carl Vaughn of Corbin, Kentucky, O. D. Vaughn and Maggie Carter of London, and Ruby Sweet of Columbus, Indiana. Rev. Johnny Benge will officiate at the service

Christine Adams, 78, of Old Crab Orchard, London, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, at her home.
Born Oct. 13, 1928 in Laurel County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Bessie Vaughn. She was of the Holiness faith and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Otis Adams.
She is survived by her daughters Janice Adams McWhorter, East Bernstadt, Ky., Barbara Ellen Rude, Seymour, Ind., and Delilah Jill Combs, East Bernstadt; her sons James Vernon Adams, Shelbyville, Tenn., and Lonnie Odell Adams, Pittsburg, Ky.; her sisters Maggie Carter, London, and Ruby Sweet, Columbus, Ind.; her brothers Carl Vaughn, Corbin, Ky., and O.D. Vaughn, London; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is to be held from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Bowling Funeral Home. Her funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, in the funeral home's chapel, with Rev. Johnny Benge officiating. Burial will follow at Upper Colony Cemetery in London.
