Patrick J. Cullen, 73, of 53 Pierson Drive, State College, and formerly of Mount Union, died at 5:37 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Mount Nittany Medical Ceneter, State College.

Born November 25, 1934, in Allenport, Shirley Township, he was a son of the late Thomas Kenneth and Ruth Pauline (Henry) Cullen.

Mr. Cullen is survived by two brothers, Donald D. "Sonny" Cullen and wife, Martha, Lewistown; and Frederick C. Cullen, Mount Union.

Mr. Cullen was a member of the Christ Community Church, State College.

He served in the United States Air Force in Korea during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Cullen was a member of the Mount Union American Legion Post No. 107.

He was a 1952 graduate of Mount Union High School and graduated from the Goldey-Beacom College for Business, Delaware.

Mr. Cullen had been employed by DuPont, Delaware; and with the DeVecchis Co., Mount Union. He retired from the Centre County Child Welfare Agency, Bellefonte.

He enjoyed playing golf.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, with Pastor Mitchel Smith officiating. Interment will be mad ein the Haven Rest Memorial Park, Crogan Pike (Route 522), Shirleysburg.

Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of services.
