He was born December 6, 1962 in Painesville.
Greg worked as a workshop specialist for Deepwood Center for the past 24 years. A member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and the Hungarian Culture Club. Greg was an avid deer hunter who shared his love of nature and being in the woods with his family and many friends. He was passionate about cooking and his barbeques and picnics were extraordinary. He loved to share his talents and time with anyone who needed it and he was extremely generous and giving. Greg will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years Milissa (Kopan); son Justin Kish; siblings Therese (David) Denner, Jeanne (Robert) McGlone, Kristine (Raymond) Bilecky, Steven Kish, Jennifer (Kenneth) Kelovsky and Daniel Kish; father and mother in law Eugene and Margaret Kopan; brothers in law Mike (Gaye) Kopan and Mark (Marie) Kopan; nieces and nephews Katherine, Sarah, Matthew, Rebecca, Joshua, Michelle, Gregory, Jessica, Emily, Jacob, Ella, Wyatt, Nathan, Kara, David and Alexandra; 6 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and JoAnn (Korwek) Kish.
Funeral mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday July 1, 2016 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor.
Family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday June 30, 2016 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Inurnment will be at a later date in All Souls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Food Force of Lake County or in his memory in care of the family.
