Mary Josephine Bradley Crook was the daughter of Jackson Haywood Bradley (b. 1826 SC, died 1891 McLennan Co., TX) and Lucinda Wilson Brooksher.

She married in 1870, probably in Newton Co., ARK, Joseph Shelton Crook (b. 1843 Georgia, died 1890 McLennan Co., TX).

An interesting note is Mary's sister, Georgia Ann Savannah Bradley, married Samuel Joshua "Josh" Crook, the brother of Mary's husband Joseph.
