Eileen R. Miller, 82, formerly of Litchfield, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Hospice of Medina in Medina. She was born September 2, 1933 in Litchfield, to Carl and Esther (Holmes) Hoffman.
She graduated from York High School in 1951 and married Manuel Miller on August 24, of that year. She was a lifetime resident of Litchfield, residing the past six years in Medina. She was a member of the Litchfield United Church of Christ, having been very active in the church and helping with the church’s food booth at the Medina County Fair for many years. She had also served on the Medina County Board of Elections. She and her late husband Manny owned and operated the Litchfield Amoco Service Station for 25 years.
Surviving are her three children, Ron (Deb) Miller of Marblehead, Ohio, Doug Miller of Litchfield, Scott (Cese) Miller of Medina; grandchildren, Michael; father, Jeremy, Amanda, Joe, David, Daniel, Nate, Kelli, Kurt, Cody and Danny (Marly); four great-grandchildren; nieces, Pam (Jim) Crisp, Julie Meyer, Krista (Bill) Fry; cousin, Kay (Claude) Crumpler and many other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Manny, and brother Donald Hoffman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 A.M., at the Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, (330) 948-1122. Her son, Scott Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Litchfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home 10 A.M. to 11.
